October 1945.  Docking ship at Quantanamo Bay Cuba. Shake-down cruise

 

March 1 1946 Tied Up In Nice, France

 

The Ship Escorted The "Big Mo" - U.S.S. Missouri the whole month of April 1946. 
They retured the Turkish Ambassador's body back to Istanbul, Turkey.  He died in the U.S.
